3 reason why weddings will make a comeback

May 19, 2020

I know, I get it. Right now believing anything will come back can feel foolish. But it will.

Things will LOOK different. They will also FEEL different.

But weddings will be back. Here’s why.

LOVE’S NOT CANCELED

As the popular hashtag goes #LOVESNOTCANCELED.

I think as we navigate these unchartered waters, one thing is clear. Love doesn’t end. In fact, I think people appreciate one another more.

I know my level of gratitude has grown immensely for the people in my life, the things I’m able to do, and the experiences I’m able to have on a daily basis.

We will need to celebrate when this is over. We will need to profess our love for one another.

EVERYONE LIKES A GOOD PARTY

Yes weddings will be different. There are no ifs, ands or buts about it.

There may be restrictions on the number of people allowed in certain venues. That’s okay. You may have to wait a little longer to get the venue you want because of a backlog. That’s okay.

When ready, your people will be there to electric slide, salsa, and party it up with you.

I think every last one of us will benefit from coming back together for a day celebrating love.

IT’S STILL THE BEST DAY EVER

There is nothing like a wedding. It doesn’t matter what size it is. It doesn’t matter how many people are there.

It’s the reason why I fell in love with wedding photography.

The emotions. The beauty. The love. And yes, sometimes there can be drama. But a wedding day that is full of love where two people begin their lives together, surrounded by their loved ones – there’s nothing quite like it.
