Pop the question(s) … to your wedding photographer

August 6, 2019

Hey everyone! I hope you’re having a great day. One of the top things that can help you as you’re choosing your wedding photographer is to ask them questions.

It seems relatively simple but there are people out there who don’t do this or don’t do it to the degree where they are left feeling comfortable. And let’s be real why wouldn’t you want to so that you know your wedding photography will be exactly what you want.
Personally, I won’t shoot a wedding unless myself and the couple have a conversation and we can both ask each other the necessary questions Why? Because it’s important to make sure you feel good about the services you’re getting  and that it’s the right fit.
That last part is super important because there should be a vibe/connection between you and your photographer. The main way to know that is to ask, ask, ask.
So you might be thinking what do I ask? I’ve found the perfect article for you to read by the awesome Orange County photographers Lin & Jirsa. It’s called 15 Questions For Your Wedding Photographer. Give it a read and let me know if there’s anything else you would add to the list.
Wishing you love & light!

These are some very interesting questions. Being a wedding photographer myself, I have yet to be asked such questions.

I think as couples get more savvy they will learn to ask the questions which will alleviate stress in the long run.
