I don’t think this post could come at a more perfect time. While I’m proud of every couple I work with and the beautiful images created, this post is needed right now.
Being able to show black love right now is one of the best things I can do.
My work focuses on inclusion, diversity and equal representation to begin with. I believe everyone no matter race, age, sexual orientation or pronoun should be denied seeing their love represented.
I’m proud I got the chance to work with Ontaya and Bryce. They and their sons were part a beautiful ceremony expressing their love to their extended family and friends.
Thank you to them and to every couple for letting me be a part of your special day, telling your story, and showing the world that love doesn’t come in one cookie cutter style. Love is love no matter who you are.
